Building a community that feels empowered in our clothing and passionate about the earth. Setting a new standard for sustainable, ethical and transparent fashion; that's our definition of mindfully made.

OUR MISSION

When we started Nama we were very aware of the impact that the major retailers of fast-fashion have on the environment. Our first goal was to research them and do the opposite: Be as transparent as possible and pave the way towards sustainable, mindfully made clothing. We encourage you to let your dollars speak for you and put them behind brands that produce ethical fashion through sustainable practices.

CERTIFICATIONS

We place a huge focus on making sure that we use recyclable fabric when available!

The GRS Certification authenticates the recycled content of our products (both finished and intermediate) and verifies responsible social, environmental and chemical practices in their production. The certification ensures accurate content claims, good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimized.

Organic cotton is not only better for the environment but it's also better for your skin!

This certifies a product contains at least 95% certified ‘organic’ materials. The OCS 100 Certification uses third-party verification to confirm whether a final product contains the accurate amount of organically grown material. Allowing for transparent, consistent and comprehensive evaluation and verification of organic material claims on products.

You don’t want chemicals in your food, so why would you want them on your body?

OEKO-TEX certifies that any textiles that carry the STANDARD 100 label have been tested for harmful substances and that the article is harmless in human ecological terms. You can be confident that all components of an article, such as fabric, buttons, accessories, and every thread, is a part of the testing process to certify an item as Standard 100.

Ethically made in a
family run facility.

Our goal is to lead the industry with transparent practices. Unlike larger fashion brands, our clothing is made by a family run facility that we visit regularly. This helps us ensure ethical practices, a safe work environment, and that all people working with Nama are happy humans.
